REGISTRATION FEE - $55 per Student or $75 per family maximum (due upon enrollment) is required for monthly class enrollment AND/OR private lessons. This fee is due one time a year on your annual registration date, is non-refundable and includes a free uniform t-shirt each year.
MONTHLY TUITION - Monthly tuition is due by the 1st of the month. A credit card on file is required for monthly tuition and will be drafted on 4th of each month. Credit cards that decline or payments that do not process will be charged a $10 late fee on the 6th of the month. Returned checks are subject to a $25 returned check fee. Students with an unpaid balance as of the 6th of the month will be removed from the class roll, and other students may fill the spots in class.
PRO-RATED TUITION – Odyssey Cheer guarantees an average of 3 – 5 lessons per month over a 12 month period. Most months have four lessons. Some months have five lessons, and very few have three lessons. In the event that 2 or less lessons are to be received in a month, Odyssey Cheer will pro-rate tuition for that month.
DISCOUNTS – Only one discount per month can be applied. For example, a sibling taking a second class is not eligible to receive a sibling and multi-class discount at the same time. Additionally, on months that we pro-rate tuition for receiving 2 or less classes, the pro-rated tuition discount is the only discount given at that time. Please note that we will always use the highest possible discount rate for you!
DROP IN POLICY - Current members can drop into classes at a rate of $25 per class (team members receive an additional discount). Reservations can be made by calling 281-741-0531. Class drop-in subject to availability. Annual registration fees must be current to attend.
UNIFORM POLICY – Beginning August 20, 2018, all students must wear an Odyssey Logo T-shirt or Odyssey Logo Sports Bra to recreational classes. All students should be in light weight tennis shoes or cheer shoes while in class. Hair should be pulled neatly and securely away from the face so that it stays up for the entire workout. No chewing gum or jewelry are allowed. Personal items should be left in cubby holes. Odyssey Cheer will not be responsible for any items that may be lost or stolen. Be sure your student’s personal items are marked with their name.
ATTENDANCE – Odyssey Cheer has open enrollment year round for all classes. Each class is charged at a flat monthly fee. The fee reserves the student’s place in the class whether attending or not. Therefore, there are no refunds for classes missed including scheduled holidays.
MAKE-UP POLICY – Odyssey Cheer offers one free makeup per calendar month. Makeups and extra classes are subject to availability, and you must be currently enrolled to schedule a makeup or an extra class. This policy is subject to further restrictions and changes.
DROPS - *NEW* Effective August 20, 2018 - Members wishing to drop Students from recreational classes must notify Odyssey Cheer via EMAIL 30 DAYS IN ADVANCE. During the 30 days you are obligated to pay for all fees that are charged. For example you submit a drop request on the 15th of the month, tuition is charged on the 1st for the following, so you are responsible for the tuition that is charged on the 1st. Verbal and voicemail drops will no longer be honored.
MEDIA RELEASE - I authorize Odyssey Cheer to copy, reproduce or publish my and/or my child’s photograph and/or recorded audio or video, for the purpose of illustration, advertising, display, audio/visual, public relations and social media purposes.
ARRIVAL AND PICKUP - Be sure your student arrives 5 minutes before (no earlier please) his/her scheduled class time and waits in the lobby for her/her class to be called. Students under the age of 6 need to be escorted into the lobby. Please pick up your student on time. Please inform us if you know you will be late picking up your student. Instruct your student to wait inside the building and you should escort them from the building to your car. During peak times the parking lot is crowded. Please take into consideration that our students may include young children. Please drive slowly and carefully. Do not take a chance on your student running to and from your car.
Please note: You are responsible for payment for your student's classes WHETHER OR NOT YOUR STUDENT ATTENDS CLASS until the time you notify the staff VIA WRITTEN NOTICE. Please do not rely on your student to verbally let us know that he/she will no longer be attending classes. If a student stops coming to class without notification then that student's account will be charged for the additional 30 days. This charge will be for holding the student's place in that class instead of offering that place to one of the many on a waiting list.
